A group of youth went for a competition redeem national youth sports festival last week Sunday,they left with a promised to be given #1500 perday and three square meal but on getting to their camp very close to lagos redemption camp they suffered a lot they don't give them any food at all not until they complained and they started giving them food 4pm sometimes 8pm and 2am in the mid night and the allowance that was promised wasn't given to them. They called the pastors and he promised when they get back they will give them all the allowance together but on getting home they said we didn't discuss anything with them, that we didn't agree on any terms of allowance and they were given only #490 just to go back to thier various places and the other regions from lagos, worri, rivers paid their athletes handsomely.
They suffered for 9 days just to come back home and collect #490 which was not the initial agreement,the region three which is osun collect the highest amount of medals gold, silver, bronze.
If we are told we are going for a charity work nothing like this will happen we would have went there on our own risk and our own expense. But we are promised to be given allowance and we starved for Complete 9 days.
