Barcelona FC has completed the signing of Dortmund wonder-kid, Ousmane Dembele for an initial fee of €120million.
The Catalans have been in search of a replacement for their record breaking attacker, Neymar. Only weeks ago the Brazilian joined french side Paris St. German for €220m to become the most expensive football player in the world.
Barcelona after seeing their 4th attempt to sign Liverpool midfielder, Phillipe Coutinho turned down, has agreed to pay an initial amount of €120million for the french international.
beIN sports reports that the initial payment is exclusive of a possible €30m in add-ons and incentives, bringing the transfer total to a possible €150m.
Dembele was earlier suspended by Dortmund for refusing to report for training as he pushed for a transfer to the Barcelona.
France coach Didier Deschamps has dropped the wonderkid from his squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers amid uncertainty over his future.
“Ousmane has not been training for 15 days, he is waiting for a possible transfer, he is struggling with his club.”
